Earendel 1 Launch

The first launch of the year took place on February 2nd, 2025. The chilly weather of the Oregon high desert met the team as they prepared for launch. OSU AIAA and HALE would like to thank the Oregon Rocketry club (OROC), for providing the range and equipment needed to safely launch Earendel.

This flight allowed the validation of flight radio and GPS hardware vital for the CETUS Flight Vehicle. Additionally, this final successful flight for Earendel marked the end of its operational life. As HALE advances its avionics packages and has new test platform requirements, Earendel will be retired for a new future test platform.
