The Avionics System Design Team creates flight computers, trackers, and other electronic systems for other AIAA teams. We design, test, and build these in-house.
This year’s project is to design a replacement computer for the Telemega, a common flight computer that has been used by other rocketry teams at OSU.
There are four main sub-groups:
PCB Design & Sensors
Code & Data Management
Battery & Power Regulation
Radio Communications
80% avionics design, building, and testing.
10% Support ECE Junior Design II avionics projects.
10% Support AIAA teams through consultation.
