Avionics System Design Team

The Avionics System Design Team creates flight computers, trackers, and other electronic systems for other AIAA teams. We design, test, and build these in-house.

This year’s project is to design a replacement computer for the Telemega, a common flight computer that has been used by other rocketry teams at OSU.

 How can you Contribute?

There are four main sub-groups:

  • PCB Design & Sensors

  • Code & Data Management

  • Battery & Power Regulation

  • Radio Communications

 How we work:

  • 80% avionics design, building, and testing.

  • 10% Support ECE Junior Design II avionics projects.

  • 10% Support AIAA teams through consultation.

    • You tell us what you want, we make it!
